Approach & Services

My Approach

I view my clients as I view myself. We are human beings with memories and scars from wins and losses, and I am no better than anyone I see, but I hope to apply the things I’ve learned to the problems in life that we all face on the road to healing and peace.

  • Attachment Theory is a psychodynamic approach that suggests that early bonds with caregivers shape our future relationships and emotional health. It highlights the importance of a secure connection between infants and caregivers which influences how we view ourselves and relate to others throughout our lives. The theory describes different attachment styles that affect our behavior, personally and relationally.

My clients find this framework helpful for understanding the roots of relationship problems they experience.

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a behavioral approach that helps clients identify and change negative or unhelpful thought patterns and behaviors. By focusing on how thoughts, feelings, and actions are connected, CBT can help clients manage anxiety, depression, and stress more effectively. This approach gives clients tools to improve emotional well-being and develop healthier ways to cope with life's challenges.
